Our dentist recognizes the important trust patients place into the hands of their healthcare providers. It’s important to feel both comfortable and secure with your dental team prior to receiving any treatment. For this reason, all patients new to our practice receive the opportunity to meet with the dentist first and foremost.

Your first dental appointment would include a review of your medical and dental history, appropriate radiographs, and a thorough evaluation of your current oral health. This ensures that the doctors are thoroughly informed so as to properly diagnose and formulate recommendations, with consideration for your needs and desires. If a problem, such as a toothache, brings you to our office for the first time - we will address your primary concern.

Should you carry several areas of concern or complex needs, we will set aside another time for you and the doctor to continue your treatment discussion. We understand that dental procedures are often intimidating and confusing when you feel you haven’t been fully informed or educated. Our goal is to not only provide your treatment, but also guide you through the process.

Being fully aware of the conditions inside your mouth and having the ability to observe procedures during the process often settles the mind. So that you can join us every step of the way, each operatory in our office is fully equipped with a fiber-optic camera that allows you to take part in a codiscovery process - we want you to see what we see when we look into your mouth. The ability to view pictures of your mouth before, during, and after a dental procedure often allows patients to feel more at ease during an appointment.
